How we got here.
- 2018
Started as a side project.
Two engineers, a freelance gig, and a strong opinion about documentation. Shipped the first client site over a weekend.
- 2021
Built the first internal toolkit.
After ten projects, the patterns were obvious. We codified them into reusable pieces — the seed of what later became SDF.
- 2024
Opened the toolkit publicly.
Realized other small teams faced the same problems. Started publishing components and documentation as a library other people could use.
- Now
Same belief, more leverage.
A handful of people, shipping serious work for small teams. The toolkit keeps growing because the projects keep teaching us new things.
